If you’re in the unfortunate situation of being arrested for the second or third time for operating under the influence, you’re facing a different process. The penalties for a second of third offense are severe. A second offender is looking at a minimum period of incarceration if convicted of 120 days and again, that is the minimum. The maximum could be exceedingly more. So, it’s crucial that no stone be un-turned that the reports be reviewed very critically by an experienced attorney and that you make every effort to work with your attorney to determine what alternatives there may be to the typical sentence.
