dog bite 5If you’re bit by a dog, it’s critical to identify the owner or the keeper of that dog. Make contact with them. Determine the ownership status. Determine whether or not that dog is current with its vaccinations, especially rabies. Then, you should document that dog bite situation with your local police department or animal control officer who can advise you as to what the rules may be, if quarantine is necessary for your benefit and your protection, whether or not this dog has a history of other dog bites which again, will be critical information for us to know in pursuing our claim for you. At that point, make sure you get proper and prompt medical attention and then leave the rest to us.
